The Barrett Mentoring Program

The BMP Year begins with mentor recruitment during early spring.  At the same time, the Mentee Application opens to all incoming freshmen, and we actively pitch BMP at Barrett Orientation sessions throughout the summer. During August, mentors connect with mentees via phone and email to welcome the freshmen to ASU and begin guiding their journey to Barrett move-in during mid-August.

The year kicks off with a Mixer during ASU Welcome Week, and monthly events and activities follow throughout the fall & spring. Meanwhile, mentors and mentees have the flexibility to connect as often as they would like, building relationships and connections that enhance their academic and social opportunities in Barrett!
